GIVING…
is a powerful act that enriches the lives of those who give and those who receive.
Led by its Board of Directors who serve as vital community advocates, the NIH Foundation is responsible for generating awareness and raising funds for programs, services, and new technologies serving the Northern Inyo Healthcare District. Since its establishment in 1995, the Foundation and the District have greatly benefited from the extraordinary generosity of our community. Time after time, our donors have helped us bring these upgrades and enhancements to the people we serve.

Projects We Support
The NIH Foundation is proud to share the success of The Breast Health Center of NIHD. This initiative has facilitated care for almost fifty breast cancer patients since its start.
Find out more about the cost-effective alternative to the more conventional way of providing medical care face-to-face. NIHD is saving patients time and the discomfort of travel with Telemedicine options.
In its first year the CAREshuttle has delivered a much needed service to the region. Patients were going without medical care because of a lack of transportation. The CAREshuttle has filled that community need.
